Bentley OpenUtilities CONNECT Edition Help

Deleting Paths

Since paths are merely organizational devices and not an integral part of the design, you may want to delete path information after the design's work locations are established. Path information can be removed by selecting the path folder and then choosing the Delete command. When you delete a path, Bentley OpenUtilities Designer deletes only the row of information about the path in the Design Workspace. Deleting a path has no effect on the path's work locations.

If you are in the process of constructing paths and you want to delete an entire path, including its work locations, use the Undo command. Or you can delete the work locations individually in addition to the path. If you have not yet performed a Get Path operation, you can delete a path in the GIS window with the Clear GIS Points command. This action deletes the active trail points so you can draw another path.

To Delete a Path

  1. From the list of paths in the Design Workspace, select the path that you want to delete and choose Delete from the Edit menu.
  2. Or right-click the path and choose Delete from the shortcut menu.
